The most common questions we get from our clients
BEFORE YOUR TAN
WAX & SHAVE Waxing and shaving should be completed 24-48 hours prior to your appointment and shaving should be completed with a razor that does not have a moisture strip
CLOTHING Wear dark, loose-fitting clothing with open-toed sandals. Please note that the bronzer in solution may transfer to your items, but is water soluble and should wash out.
EXFOLIATE
Stray away from a body scrub that is oil-based because it wll leave a residue. Pair body wash with an exfoliating mitt, not a loofah. Make exfoliation the lost step of your shower ritual.
MANI + PEDI Complete mani + pedi the days prior. If completed day-of tan, please forego any oils/lotions that your nail tech may apply. If completed days after tan, your tan may become uneven due to soaking, acetone, oils, lotions, etc.
OTHER BEAUTY TREATMENTS Tanning should always be the last beauty treatment completed due to the barriers that spa treatment products can create. Complete all facials, massages, etc the days prior.
SHOWERING Use a gel-based body wash Avoid products with mineral oil. You should shower at least 4 hours prior to tanning. If you must shower within 4 hours, run cold water at the end.
NO BARRIERS Skip any lotions, oils
deodorant, perfumes, or makeup the day of your appointment. All of these can create a barrier on the skin that prevent absorption.
